Before today’s offices and businesses moved in, this site was a place of cement production. Its history reaches back to 1928. Founded in 1993, CEVASERVIS a. s. continues the story of this industrial site through its ongoing use and development.

THE SITE’S ORIGINS
The Stupava cement works.
The origins of today’s site are tied to the establishment of the Stupava cement works in 1928. Slovakia was undergoing industrialisation within Czechoslovakia, while Bratislava was experiencing a construction boom. The cement works emerged at a time of growing demand for building materials.
The initial capital came from the Handlová coal mines and the Union insurance company. Several prominent construction and engineering companies of the period took part in this demanding industrial project.
The complex also had a distinctive architectural character. Its clinker hall, with open colonnades and a layout reminiscent of a five-aisled basilica, gave this industrial building a striking identity.
A CHANGE OF PURPOSE
From production to technical services.
Cement production in Stupava ended in the 1980s, closing the manufacturing chapter that had defined the site for decades.
The CEVASERVIS enterprise was established after production ceased. It focused on maintaining and repairing equipment used in cement manufacturing. The industrial connection continued through technical services.
THE COMPANY IS FOUNDED

CEVASERVIS a. s. was founded in 1993. Since then, it has developed into the company it is today, working in commercial property and providing premises for businesses in Stupava.
The history of the site therefore predates the present joint-stock company. Their stories share a location and its changing purpose: from cement production through technical services to premises for other businesses.
THE STORY CONTINUES
A place where work continues.
Today, CEVASERVIS premises accommodate offices, warehouses, shops and production businesses. The former industrial site is part of the daily lives of the companies and people who work here.
Today, this site offers a place to live, work and enjoy leisure time.
The cement works remain part of this place’s identity. Its present use adds another chapter, providing room for work, services and business in Stupava.
